Happy feet

True confession time, I have a dirty little secret.
After 22 years in Chicago, I have discovered the hidden advantage to living in a city that seems to have frigid temps, snow, and wind for a good 3/4 of the year: No one (except maybe your significant other and/or your yoga instructor) will see your legs and feet from October through March.
Because of this many women, myself included, leap at the opportunity to avoid shaving, waxing, and pedicures for part of that time.
Now let me make this clear, I don't quite pull a “Monique” over the winter.

However I definitely slack off on the maintenance below the waist.
But come April, when the trees are blooming, the birds are chirping, and my toes are wiggling in the fresh cut grass, I know it's that time: Sandal Time. I put on a fresh coat of OPI  “Do you Lilac It” and I'm ready to go shoe shopping.
There are so many great sandals for this season at great prices. And like Lay's, you can't just stop at one.

  1. Cute! Except I don't get the Mia Harlot -- what's with the cowl on the sandal? Time for a pedicure.
